ReadonlyraycasterRaycaster used for drive-surface following and obstacle checks.
ReadonlyviewThe View navigated by this controller.
Forward acceleration in world-space units per second squared.
Whether vehicle navigation is active.
Braking deceleration when pressing reverse while moving forward.
Camera height above the driven surface.
Passive deceleration when no throttle or brake key is pressed.
Forward thrust acceleration while flying.
Deceleration while holding reverse/brake in flight.
Minimum forward airspeed preserved while gliding.
Height gained automatically after entering flight mode.
Vertical lift speed after entering flight mode.
Whether vehicle navigation is currently flying.
Set to true to detach from the drive surface and lift off. Set to
false to drop back to the nearest driveable ground or rooftop.
Maximum camera roll into turns, in degrees.
Maximum forward speed in world-space units per second.
Maximum reverse speed in world-space units per second.
Current signed speed in world-space units per second.
Clears transient keyboard, pointer-drag and control-surface input state.
This is useful when an application temporarily owns the same keys as the vehicle controller for custom movement logic and needs to guarantee that no held key state remains inside the controller.
Destroys this controller and restores any suspended ModelNavigationController.
Opt-in vehicle-style navigation for moving through large models.
VehicleNavigationControllerkeeps a current speed instead of applying instant walk steps.W/Saccelerate and brake,A/Dand the left/right arrow keys ramp into turns, and click-drag steers yaw/pitch like the procedural city vehicle demo. Ground steering is more responsive at low speed, while camera bank grows and settles faster as speed increases, giving a skateboard-like carve. While following a sloped drive surface, the view eases a little into uphill and downhill gradients instead of staying fully erect.Spacetoggles flight mode: the vehicle detaches and lifts off, then can glide on its own momentum and softly land on a drive surface. It can also follow drive surfaces and block movement through obstacles using Scene raycasts.
